"Campden BRI Hungary" is a non-profit research and development institute, independent from food manufacturers whose mission is to meet the needs of the Hungarian Agro-food industry. We are the successor of the Frozen Industry Development and Analytical Institute, so we have decades of R+D experience in the Hungarian food industry. We have direct access to the most recent research results and methods through our parent company (www.campden.co.uk) and we traditionally implement our developments in cooperation with the food industry.
We have great experience in the fields of technology transfer, product development and new product introduction to the market. Our main activities are: technology and quality developments, sensory and consumer surveys, development and implementation of food safety systems, heat treatment and frozen preservation, product development, development of GHP and GMP guidelines, microbiology, sensory evaluation, development and application of industrial microbiological risk assessment, consultancy on food-safety and quality assurance, development of quality requirements, strategy analysis, and development of marketing strategies.
The staff range from professional senior researchers with extensive industrial experience to junior researchers with the latest research knowledge.
